Basement

The basement represents the deepest layers of the unconscious mind — the repository of repressed memories, hidden desires, and forgotten experiences. A dark basement may indicate fear of exploring your shadow side. Finding something in the basement suggests recovering lost memories or rediscovering forgotten aspects of yourself. A flooded basement indicates emotions rising from the unconscious.

Yellow

Yellow represents mental clarity, optimism, joy, and caution. A bright yellow environment suggests intellectual stimulation and happiness. However, yellow can also indicate caution (yellow traffic lights) or cowardice. Faded or dirty yellow may suggest illness, decay, or betrayal. In many Eastern traditions, yellow is sacred — representing wisdom and the solar plexus chakra of personal power.
