Crow

Crows are complex dream symbols carrying meanings of intelligence, adaptability, and the bridge between life and death. In many traditions, crows are messengers between the physical and spiritual worlds. A single crow may represent a prophetic message, while a murder of crows can symbolize collective intelligence or foreboding change. Crows are associated with Odin in Norse mythology and with creation stories in many Indigenous cultures.

Darkness

Darkness in dreams represents the unknown, the unconscious mind, and fear of what you cannot see. Complete darkness suggests being 'in the dark' about something important. Fear of the dark reflects fear of the unconscious and its contents. However, darkness can also be a womb-like, protective state — a necessary emptiness before new creation. The response to darkness (fear vs. acceptance) is diagnostically important.
