Darkness

Darkness in dreams represents the unknown, the unconscious mind, and fear of what you cannot see. Complete darkness suggests being 'in the dark' about something important. Fear of the dark reflects fear of the unconscious and its contents. However, darkness can also be a womb-like, protective state — a necessary emptiness before new creation. The response to darkness (fear vs. acceptance) is diagnostically important.

Eagle

Eagles soar above all other birds and represent the highest aspirations of the human spirit. In Jungian analysis, the eagle is the supreme symbol of vision and the ability to see the bigger picture. In many Indigenous traditions, the eagle carries prayers to the Creator. Dreaming of an eagle may indicate a need for a broader perspective on your life or a call to tap into your higher purpose and spiritual power.
