Darkness

Darkness in dreams represents the unknown, the unconscious mind, and fear of what you cannot see. Complete darkness suggests being 'in the dark' about something important. Fear of the dark reflects fear of the unconscious and its contents. However, darkness can also be a womb-like, protective state — a necessary emptiness before new creation. The response to darkness (fear vs. acceptance) is diagnostically important.

Green

Green represents growth, healing, vitality, and connection to nature. Light green suggests new growth and fresh beginnings, while dark green can represent jealousy (green with envy) or deep healing. Green environments in dreams typically feel safe and nurturing. In chakra traditions, green is the heart center — connecting love with healing. A green room or landscape often appears when the psyche is in a healing phase.
