Island

Islands represent isolation, self-sufficiency, and refuge from the overwhelming 'ocean' of emotions or life demands. A tropical island paradise suggests a desire for escape and rest. A deserted island reflects loneliness and self-reliance. An island you can't leave represents feeling trapped in isolation. Islands also represent the conscious self surrounded by the vast unconscious (the sea).

Letter or Package

Letters and packages represent messages from the unconscious, anticipated news, or revelations. An unopened letter suggests something you need to acknowledge. A letter from someone specific carries their energy and unresolved matters. A mysterious package represents unknown opportunities or surprises. The act of opening mail symbolizes being receptive to new information and insights.
