Island

Islands represent isolation, self-sufficiency, and refuge from the overwhelming 'ocean' of emotions or life demands. A tropical island paradise suggests a desire for escape and rest. A deserted island reflects loneliness and self-reliance. An island you can't leave represents feeling trapped in isolation.
