Owls represent wisdom, the ability to see through darkness and deception, and access to hidden knowledge. As nocturnal creatures, they symbolize the ability to navigate the unconscious mind. In Greek mythology, the owl was Athena's companion. However, in some cultures, owls are considered harbingers of death or bad news. The owl's ability to turn its head 270 degrees symbolizes seeing all perspectives.

Rat

Rats in dreams carry complex symbolism. On one hand, they represent incredible survival skills, adaptability, and resourcefulness. On the other hand, they can symbolize betrayal, disease, and things that gnaw away at you. In Chinese culture, the rat is the first zodiac animal and represents cleverness and wealth. A rat in your house may indicate something is eroding your sense of security from within.
